Trayce Madre’s interest and passion for everything beauty encompasses began when she was 12 years old. At her first Ebony Fashion Fair show she was intrigued with every aspect of the beauty industry. With her first subscription to Ebony Magazine in hand she began trying makeup and hair looks on herself, friends and family. While studying Marketing at Northern Illinois University, she continued to amaze the students and professors on campus with her eye for detail and flawless extensions, but she knew that the creativity that poured out of her was bigger than the creations only her friends and family benefited from.


In 2000 Trayce Madre left her corporate job to follow her lifelong passion of creating beauty. Following the God given talent that was bestowed upon her, gave her the confidence to explore the unknown world she was about to pursue. The first few years were an uphill battle. Everything was a new beginning; student, wife, and mom. With her cosmetology coursework and the birth of 3 beautiful children behind her, she knew it was time. The time had come to put her years in the classroom, her work in several salons and research into action.


Trayce Madre opened the Trayce Madre Extension Salon in 2008 where she brought her Matrix Sew In System and Revolutionary Luxury hairline to the public. She has taken the world by storm with her 3 principle to healthy and natural looking extensions; custom sew, proper hair, and a blended cut. Each year her following continues to grow from state to state and now overseas.

One of the things that people associate Trayce with is the title of, “The Extension Guru”. With 55 certifications, Trayce has become efficient in coloring, cutting, and extension application. She has enhanced her experience by working with the likes of Redken, Affirm, Sebastian, Matrix, Joico, Indigo, Mizani, Tigi, Scruples, Jalyd, and Morrocanoil. Her cutting technique is one of her most sought after services. She has developed a superior style of cutting that gives her high end clients a "razor" look using a precision shear. Her technique embodies excellence!

Over the years Trayce has taken her business to new levels with customized techniques, the creation of her own personal hair line, and the development of educational courses. In efforts to ensure that people are properly educated on hair extensions she has developed a training curriculum, for stylist and clients. Her goal is for everyone to be informed and knowledgeable when it comes to the needs of their hair.
