In 2010, Tammira started the company, Ryann’s Closet. Named after her daughter, Ryann’s Closet is a children's boutique whose mission is to provide an exciting selection of custom high quality, fashionable, sassy & chic young children's accessories and clothing at exceptional value and affordable cost. Having found pronounced success with this venture, only at the guiding of her management and administrative background, Tammira has used this venture to travel the world and blaze her trail of success. Tammira does not take it lightly or for granted the opportunities presented before her. With Ryann’s Closet mainly serving the needs of parents, Tammira found it that she was very often at events that were tailored to mothers on the go. She eventually networked with the organizers of these events and started doing motivational speeches and workshops, in addition to selling Ryann’s Closet accessories. She speaks from her certification as a Certified STEP (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting) Leader, and a manager/administrator hailed by her peers as one of the best (she was selected as a member of the National Black MBA Association). Combining her success of Ryann’s Closet and the ventures of public speaking & life coaching for women and teens she has become a featured speaker for several organizations including but not limiting to The Cupcake Society, SKILLS Professional Development Network, Upward Bound program and the Coalition of 100 Black Women Mentoring Program and other speaking. Tammira also holds a recurring empowerment segment monthly on The Daily Grind Internet radio show.
Recognized by 92Q as one of 2014 Baltimore's Top 30 Under 30 and Baltimore’s Fab List, Tammira Lucas is a Mompreneur who is quickly emerging as a trailblazer among young professionals and a powerful voice for women teaching them Business, Balance and Babies. Tammira is the founder of The Beauty and the BOSS Empowerment Brunch, which focus on empowering, enlightening, educating and inspiring women to see the beauty in following their dreams. Tammira is a featured blogger for Forbes Top 10 Entrepreneurial Websites for Women, and 10 Best Career Sites for Women The BOSS Network. As a mom, wife, and entrepreneur Tammira coaching systems focus on helping women/moms jump hurdles to success while learning the art of balance, business and babies. To add to her plethora of hats Tammira is also a Doctoral student at Walden University studying Business Administration.
Tammira Lucas holds a Bachelors of Science in Management Science from Coppin State University and Masters in Business Administration from Strayer University. Tammira believes that with the same faith she displayed in 2010 with just a dream and a vision, that all mother’s and young girls can succeed as well.
Tammira’s goal is to stimulate audiences by sharing her messages through inspirational and motivational speaking geared towards helping you follow your dreams. Her speaking topics are custom tailored toward moms and couples (married or unmarried) who are currently or aspiring to become entrepreneurs, students, experts, and industry leaders.
